Orchestrating this with everyone there was HELL, even though I had a week to prepare for it. Originally we were going to do a kind of inverted "v" shape, but we just didn't have the room in the garage. But, the results turned out OK using a panorama.

I tried spacing out the cars by model AND colour, so there weren't too many blue cars next to each other for instance. I think it worked well, given about a 50 or more people showed up, and figuring out who drove what car was confusing. An hour of last minute directing and less than a minute shooting..So it goes huh?

So, I used the slow lens, and it did OK.. Used ISO2000 with an fstop of 3.5 at 16mm. I wish I had that 11-16 right about now! I'll likely do this again this time, from the huge plateau that's there..
This was about 746 shots over the course of 6 hours, at which point the battery died in the camera with two hundred something shots left :/ Ah well. that would have only added another ten seconds to the clip. Better luck next time, right? Perhaps, I should invest in a second battery and a grip!

Thanks. The tree is about 6 foot, its the angle and wide lens that make it look massive :)

I was also able to reverse my tripod's main shaft so that it was pointing downward instead of upward, enabling me to get about 2" from the carpet. I had to pretty much stand on my head to get the exposure correct through the viewfinder, :)

It's a 3-shot HDR with a starburst filter on the end of the lens.

My friend Katrina really likes comic books. So much so, that she has plenty of superhero outfits that she likes dressing up in and going to comic book conventions. She hired me today to shoot a couple photos of her in various places and outfits. She wanted them a little "hot" in the processing dept., so that's what I delivered. Much like the previous shots of the other girl, this one felt like much of the same style. I'll post others soon, too.

I've been really slacking recently on account of the cold, depressing weather here on the eastern seaboard. I am going to Gettysburg (again) in Februrary, so I'll try to shoot a lot there. Last time we went I caught some ghosts! Can't find the pictures, of course now
