All I can say is why didn't I see this thread sooner? This is one seriously, seriously stunning portfolio. Such a strong and definitive photographic style. Some really fantastic images.

Thank you for that. What a nice thing to say.

I must admit that by committing to a shot a day, I've learned so much and been forced to see the world in a very different way.

Some days its hard but I push through those days and always am glad I did so.

Day 114 (24/04/2013)

Going to be away from my pc until Monday so I wanted to upload something. I know this isn't a perfect shot but I'm limited in my editing capabilities until I get back to work.

This is my attempt at minimalism.

Day 115 (25/04/2013) - Anzac Day

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow oldAge shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them"

Day 116 (26/04/2013)

Took the Friday off to spend it at home with the family. Thought we'd bake up a batch of muffins for desert. After two broken mixing bowls and several batches later, we thought it was best the 'big people' did the stirring from now on :)

Day 117 (27/04/2013)

My parents came over for a visit today. I've been meaning to get a photo of the both of them for a while now but have always been sidetracked.

I took the opportunity when it presented itself, but unfortunately I rushed it and I didn't have enough dof to get them both in focus. So dad's a little 'soft' in this image. (I doubt he'd be happy with me referring to him as that though).

Next time for sure.

Day 119 (29/04/2013)

Skylanders... as a kid at heart, I so wish they had these when I was growing up. As a parent, I wish they never existed! In my day we collected Footy cards, with the bland stick of chewing gum in the pack... now kids are collecting these very expensive toys!

My son has loved these from afar, ever since he went to his cousin's house and played with his. So we decided to buy him his own.

Day 120 (30/04/2013)I went for a stroll before work this morning. Came across a building foyer, filled with green lights. After working with the image, I felt it worked better in black & white. Interested in hearing what others prefer:
