Day 34 (3/2/2013)
Another day at the park. This time, I made sure I took them to a park where the possibility of taking an interesting shot was higher.
There was a Buddhist Temple close by...

Day 36 (5/2/2013)

Too busy at work to get out and take a photo today. Got to around 11pm when I realised I hadn't taken my daily pic. I ran around the house looking for a subject and came across my wife's scented candles!

Hopefully she doesn't notice they've been lit.

Interestingly, I attempted the same shot with my 50mm 1.4 with very similar DOF results. I think the main reason was the distance from the subject. With the 1.4 I couldn't get closer than 45-50cm, whereas the Tamron I was around 35-40cm. The extra 10cm or near abouts really makes a difference.

Day 37 (6/2/2013)

Another day getting smashed at the office and not getting out. As a result I left my daily pic till I got home. The one thing we have in abundance at home are kids toys so they became the subject of today's pic.

Day 38 (7/2/2013)

I had a meeting on the other side of the city this morning. I was early so I took the opportunity to go for a stroll and get my daily pic.

Day 41 (10/2/2013)

I thought i'd try a little macro-like photography. I don't own a macro lens so I had to make do with my Tamron 24-70.

Day 42 (11/2/2013)

If you have seen my earlier shots, you will have noticed I spend quite a bit of time on the railways, travelling to and from work.

Some days this is about as much daylight as I get to see and today is no different.

Day 43 (12/02/2013)

I have been meaning to take a few shots of this particular building for a while now. It is an Art Deco style construction from the late 1930's which housed The Olympic Tyre and Rubber Company. It sits on a huge parcel of land which has since been sold and redeveloped into town houses. This building is heritage listed, and so it was retained and restored to it's former beauty.

I couldn't imagine going to work in a building this bright everyday.
