Day 47 (16/02/2013)

This is my first attempt at capturing a drop of water onto a mirror. I must say it was harder than I thought it would be.

I'll try again in a few weeks.

You can learn a ton about the lens from that snap...

Now try to do one where the chains are swinging...lol :)

Day 50 (19/02/2013)

50 days in and still going (who would have thought???).

Hurt my back the night before so I spend most of the day laying down. By the time I was well enough to get my daily shot, it was already dark and had to find something to shoot.

This is a closeup of a flower one of the kids brought in from the backyard for my wife. Its been cropped at 100% so gives the appearance of a macro shot.

I wasn't happy with these shots so decided to head outside and capture the progress on my ManCave (aka garage).

Thanks. I was running out the door at work and rushed getting this uploaded. I wanted to clean up the water a bit but it is a true representation of the colour

Day 51 (20/02/2013)

In between meetings I managed to fit in a walk. Came across this street performer.

Day 52 (21/02/2013)

Only had a few minutes to get a picture during the day.

The sun streaming through the trees in front of the Supreme Court.

Day 53 (22/02/2013)

We're moving offices at work, and I had to do a site visit of the new location. Made the excuse I needed to take survey shots of the location but really I was scouting for my 365 picture.

This is the view from one of the meeting rooms.

To the left is the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and to its right is the Melbourne Tennis Centre where the Australian Open is played each year.

Someone needs a tilt-shift lens!! :)

Would love one but my budget won't allow it.

I tried lens correction in PS but the angle was just too great. It was a narrow street and a very high building which didn't help.
Also, the building had a curvature along the front which looks like lens barreling.
