My wife and son were with me... They think I am crazy.

Preach on brother addict for you speak the truth! At least that is what I believe as I am told the same.

My wife is pretty good about my habit. I started off photography about 34 years ago so I would be able to take good pictures of our first child that was on the way. About 5 years or so I quit my job to work in photography full time. A few years after that I went to work in the New one hour labs fad and ended up moving the family to a new city and buying two camera stores / one hour labs. My mental illness has deep roots.

Good strategy with the car!

I think my wife is using that strategy on me now. She want to go to the Granola state to see the Rose Bowl Parade some time. I flat refuse to go. Her new wish is to go to New York City for a month. Rent an apartment and stay for a while. Then drive upstate. I surprised here though and said that sounded like a great idea but I would need a new lens before I go. I was thinking about the Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Lens. Nice all in one for vacation use. Not to sure how good a lens it is though. I just like that it includes the macro function.
