Went to a little Restaurant and bakery in town, Heavens 2 Betsy. Our friend Pennies and Roses were playing to the late lunch crowd. It was a lot of fun.

A friend of mine gave me loan of a Rokinon 10mm /2.8 lens. I really had not fooled with wide angle so my friend loaned it to me to try out. I have to say that I like it... but there is a bit to learn about using it. I got the lens set up properly in Non CPU in the D7200 and it seems to work. But you can get some interesting shapes :)

I included some of my shots from around home and downtown for today's photos.

Well the day is off to a great start. I got out to capture my sunrise with the Rokinon 10mm /2.8 lens this morning. I am enjoying the wide angle... it is interesting. Hope to get out a little later today if I am up to it. Mondays are a bit unpredictable.

And @mikew, that spanner keeps getting bigger.

Kind of had a more active morning this morning sunrise and than wandered down by Old Crow Distillery. Old Crow was some nasty bourbon when I was young and they went out of business long ago, but there has been this resurgence of craft bourbon and they are restoring the facility. They are had at it and I could not get as close as the last time, but I am thinking it is going to be pretty cool mid summer.

This is one of those days where the mind was willing but the body was weak... Took some cloud pics as I walked the dog mid day. But it was a beautiful blue sky at a brisk 32F.

03, Mar, 2016... a compromise for my British friend...

Snowy day. I actually took a picture just like this plate years ago with a point and shoot camera on one of my many trips to the Wall. The plate was a gift.

Today I went to lunch with my wife and some of her friends from church. She works in a commercial part of Frankfort. I had her drop me off and I walked to her office. Gray day called for B&W.

I just realized that my camera date did not keep up with leap year. I had forgotten to date yesterdays photo and I looked at it and the data said EXIF data said the 5th. But it clearly was posted on the 4th. So there is a few days that my EXIF data is not going to match the date posted. It will be a day ahead.

I did fix it. I was a bit surprised that the camera calendar did not account for it... oops...

It was weird @RockieNH, I went back and looked at my review in calendar mode and it showed the 29th, but it did not date the photo correctly. If it were not for the time stamp on the post I would have been completely confused... ok I was completely confused, but the time stamp on the site post helped me figure it out :D:confused:

I guess I have 4 years before I get to test the issue out again.

Another cloudy day, but that was good. Me and bright light are not on speaking terms... Some pictures of Jersey at 3200 ISO. I was not sure I would get a shot today.

I know it is early to post for today, but I never know how Sundays will go... We had a really clear sky and I had a little lite noise pollution from the neighbors security light, but I liked using the 10 mm.
