Thanks @Roy1961, I am best in the mornings. Sometimes my afternoons are not all that much, so I try to get something posted first thing while everything is firing and hope for the afternoon :cheerful::encouragement:

that's why I like the weekends, get out early, week days I can only get shooting in the evenings after work, I am not seeing anything around work at lunchtime at the moment.

Sunrise on the Windy Knob.... Beautiful morning this morning. About 55 and clear.... only a little fog on the river. The air was clean this morning. Had a nice walk with Jersey and got a couple photos. Not sure if I will get out today. I am a bit wobbly, but the morning has been a blessing and I will take it.

I enjoy them when i can catch them. They can kind of hang back and hide from me. I like the color. The one yesterday was just kind of fun to watch. hopping from one sided of the bird bath to the other, foraging on the ground. Just fun to watch.

Well my daughter and her family moved back to Kentucky yesterday. It has been kind of crazy, but Pat and I are very happy to have her home. She has been in North Carolina a long time. They found a nice duplex across the street from my old Junior High... they call it a middle school now... So that is what I had time to get a photo of yesterday.

I operated in supervisory role primary, moving only to get out of the way. But was nice. Blessed day... Also got a shot of my old tuning strip... across from the school. I had no sense at 16.
