Got the one shot walking Jersey yesterday and the other is sunset from the upstairs window. Now we are off to some Memorial Day Services at the Healing Field and hopefully Camp Nelson if I am up to it. I know Memorial day is our day to honor the fallen. But it is also important to remember those left behind. God bless the Gold Star families. Their price paid is hard for me to fathom.

Went to a prayer service at the Healing Field in Lawrenceburg. A flag is placed for each Solider killed in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. We have a small service every Memorial Day and each Veterans Day at 8:30 in the morning. Started with 4 of us. Today we had 50.

Got out on the porch this morning. Been having a lot of company and I run out of steam. But Porch sitting... That I can do and I had some new guests.

This one was trying to keep the feeder balanced. It moved from port to port taking a little each time. Finally caught him in mid flight or landing... not sure how to describe it.

Some days I have the best plans and just run short of juice. But it is ok. I went to the back side of the airport and wanted to catch some planes and birds I see back there all the time. But they outlasted me. I got one plane and some flowers.
