Had time for one sunrise shot before Church. But we are having a dose of sunshine for a few days. May even be nice for the Run to The Wall Wednesday. I sure hope so.

Today is a different day for my 366. Today I made it from 12-2:30 at the Kentucky Vietnam Memorial to meet the guys and gals that make the run to the Wall in Washington DC. I made my first run in 2000. They have been making the run for 29 years to protest those uncounted for from Vietnam and all wars. I knew the number before the stroke . It is an amazing event to participate in. To honor those that are still unaccounted for. The group is getting older... but young men and women from Afghanistan and Iraq wars are joining the riders. Some of the rider come from as far as Australia... they belong to the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club.

Part 2 Old friends I used to ride with... The one shot of the Memorial empty is luck.... it was between groups. It is a huge sundial and the Gnoman cast a shadow on the anniversary of day each soldier was killed. Very somber place.

Nice morning today. Did some porch sitting. Yesterday wore me out a bit, but it was worth it. I am good at naps :encouragement:

Yes, sort of. They are from the yard. I have an old farm house with a covered porch on the north and west sides and a small deck on the east. It is on the top of a hill surrounded by trees except to the east. I can wander past the treeline to the east. I love shooting the sunrise there.

We bought it with the intent to fix it up, (needs some work), but my health issues hindered that. Love it here and love the views... God is good.
