My daughter and her fiance came to visit over Easter. So it is family photos today. It has been too long since we have seen each other... It was such a blessing and such a great weekend, but I am exhausted.

If Caroline were not taking a bunch of students to Denmark tomorrow afternoon and she had not asked to see these on Facebook I would have waited until tomorrow... But hey, I am easy sometimes.

My company kind of wore me out over the weekend. I kinda overdid it. It had been four years since we had seen my daughter face to face... so I was not up to driving today... but hey we had clouds... And the buzzard came back JUST after I switched from the big gun to the wide angle. But what a glorious afternoon the Lord made... good for porch sittin' even if the birds were hiding out.

Kind of a weird day today. Doctors and tests all afternoon. Left at 12:30 and got home at almost 6:30. I do not want to offend any doctors, but there is a reason that they call it a practice...

I knew I would miss most the day so I tried to grab some shots this morning. I did follow a plane through the sky this morning... I was excited just to follow it, but had to really crop it. A blue moon and the back of a robin. Like I said a bit weird, but it was good practice with the big gun and I enjoyed it.

Not the best weather for going outside today. So I did a couple dog photos. Jersey does not really like the camera, but she did OK. Less hair then last time too. I left the shutter speed up and ran auto ISO just to see how it would turn out. Not to much noise, but I ran it through Define 2 just to see how it would all work out.

Well today was pretty windy here, but a beautiful day. My wife Pat and I got out and did a little around the yard and put up new bird feeders, but they were not interested today. I guess it was to windy, but the turkey vultures were enjoying the thermals and for the first time I was able to actually track one. It is not perfect, but much better and able to better hold focus. It was exciting. They were a good distance off, but I did not loose them and I was pretty happy... Kind of a little step forward... the big plus was I did not hit the ground :encouragement:

Took some photos of the roses in the flower beds at church after services today. 36F this morning, but it was so sunny. Now a little lunch and some rest.
