Just realized the upper Tram station is visible on the mountain above town. We then walked up the snowy peak to the left (photos below)

On top of the world (well not really but it was fantastic) About 8000ft elevation and a cozy -5C while we were up there with snow falling in the wind

The way up and down

Hwy down below is the way home for us

The snowman was there already Marilynne it was probably built in the summer. My little lion tried to make angels and build a snowman but the snow was very very hard and powdery dry. It wasn't that cold up there but the wind was non stop. I think most of the haze in my photos are actually the clouds hanging over us because when I got down lower there was no haze

To the west the Hwy back to BC

To the south east the Icefields Parkway which takes you to Banff

Everything you can see from up here plus farther than you can see is within Jasper Park

Down in those trees is our very nice Campground which has 781 large sized serviced campsites! You can't even see it from above

Down below 10C felt so warm and the air so wonderfully easy to breathe!

Marilynne I found this one for you its the only way to show the wind and texture of the snow. We were up above the tree line so no trees or bushes to show movement but the snow was the texture of sand, no ice just sandy snow
