Woke up to a little snow this morning. Took "what's her name" out to see if she could handle a few landscapes. Took this with my old 18-55 mm that came with my D3100 .:encouragement:

Not much today. Wanted to drive down to Berry College in Rome, Ga today to see the Bald Eagles nest, but forcast is thunderstorms and rain, so we skipped it.
Went down to the Osprey's nest to look around instead before the rains came.

My 10,000th post on Nikonites. (and it's not birds)
Went to a small lake yesterday at the College in Rome, GA to shoot a few Swans and some small birds that hang out around there. I happened upon a photoshoot in progress.
So I leaned up against a tree and acted like I was shooting birds but I took a few snaps of the shoot and the model with the 200-500mm lens .
A very pretty model indeed. Too bad that they were shooting in the mid day harsh sun. I would love to see how those shots came out.
I also did some toning in Nik Tools. (Analog FX) on a few of the shots.
