Honestly, I used P mode mostly with my D80 for about 3 years. I figured if the auto exposure worked, why force things? I eventually evolved to A and S modes, but full manual is only if they won't do the job I ask.

@sen-la Please go back to the beginning to state what you are trying to do. FX means full-frame and DX means cropped-sensor, but they both go on exactly the same Nikon F-mount. I cannot understand a need for an adapter.

Kind of gray, cloudy, and dark. But infrared thrives on that kind of sky. Only wish the clouds were even more ominously moody.

Screen protectors: I have put the stick-on clear kind to all 3 of my bodies. Use them for my phone and mp3 player also. I have multiple types of bags and sizes. There is no 1 perfect solution IMO.
