I deleted my first submission because there was a short break in the rain and saw this as a much better opportunity.

I decided to go back today and capture the building from its corner. 16mm really shows perspective distortion! ;) Keep in mind, the building isn't rectangular and has unusual angles for its walls.

It sounds like there is a communication issue between the camera and lens. As Sparky mentioned, when using a lens with an aperture ring, that ring needs to be set to the smallest aperture (usually f/22 or higher depending on the lens). You control/change the aperture only through the camera...
