Not sure where to post this as its not a flower more a pain in the neck for gardeners. My wife calls it Sticky Weed, its also known as Velcro plant you can see why. Its real name apparently is Galium Apanine.

Going to have a bumper crop of conkers later this year. Never seen the young horse chestnut tree so full of blossom.

Hope this helps I used LR 5.5 to modify your first photo - you captured a lot of detail that doesn't show up in the original. Hope you don't mind the editing its to my personal taste but everyone is different. Just wanted to show whats possible with LR. Working with RAW files is even better...

Welcome I use the 80 - 400 on my D800 and it gives superb results. I think it is well worth the money. Tests show that it also works well with the TC 1.4 teleconverter but loses a little detail if you go to the 1.7x or 2x This was taken at ISO 1600

They grow a lot of lawn turf around here and have just taken up three fields worth. Now the process of re-seeding starts - first plough the fields in neat furrows.

This is Charlie. He is getting on a bit now and suffers from arthritis. Weather here today is really dismal so we are both stuck inside and he is bored with me messing around on the computer.

I like doing macro shots and I have been using my 50mm f1:8G with extension tubes on my D800 for over a year now. I have been looking at the 105mm f/2:8 micro but will I really see any difference ?
