That's a standard M39 mount... of course, there are a brazillian better, modern, macro lenses that will at least auto-focus and interface with the features of your camera...

There are numerous reasons to upgrade to the D810 from the D7000 series cameras... Here's a link to a side-by-side comparison of the important features. With today's prices, and availability though... I'd suggest looking for a used D850 instead of the D810...

Is that the only reason you want to upgrade? Are you missing shots because one camera isn't as fast as the other????? How many shots are you missing because of "performance" of burst mode???????

Both the D and S versions of the 60mm are used for exactly the work you anticipate... The D is just an earlier version... The D3 is a full frame camera... I wouldn't consider purchasing a DX crop-sensor lens for the D3

I'd be interested too... simply to extend the 200-500... I have a 1.7 extender, but even wide-open on a good day, the autofocus gets hinkey because you're at f9.5...

Are you maximizing the frame rates by using the fastest avail cards... I've always found that Frame rate doesn't mean squat in burst modes unless you're using the fastest (writeable) SD/CF cards...as well as the file sizes that have been selected... I've had better results just pulling frames...
