    Marathon shoot

I'm the "official" shooter for the STL Downtown St. Pat's Parade and Run and I use an FX body with 24-70 and DX with 70-200. I find that I use the 70-200 more than the wide zoom. I shoot manual and most of my shots are between f/3.2 and f/6.3. I'd suggest you take both lenses, just in case.

Nikon 200-500/5.6 VR Lens....... post your photos!

Spent an hour at a local air show and realized I don't know squat about shooting prop planes with a big lens. Even lowering SS to 1/60 would not produce propeller blur (much less give a sharp shot).

    D7200 v D500 : Is it twice the camera?

I was shooting "from the hip" and we were only going about 60 mph. But my shutter speed was too fast to show motion blur on their car. At least person taking my pic was the passenger in the other Porsche and they had time to set up the shot. If you think that's bad, look at this one from 2004...

    BBF a go

Sounds like fun. And a chance to give many methods/settings a try. In addition to the exposure triangle, you have stop action, panning, different angles (ground level, etc.) that you can play with. As mentioned earlier, please post some pics. If you don't want to resize, you don't have to. I'm a...
