Came across Mom Mule Deer apparently licking the ground in a hay field this morning. The ground turned out to be this fawn barely an hour old.

Very first shots with this lens. The deer were using a 1.4 TC-III, the squirrel the straight lens. Shot on my D500 body.

Shooting conditions were gray skies, 8/8 overcast, drizzle and 15 kph winds. Subjects in both cases were in very dark areas under overhanging branches. These shots were taken from a bobbing R I B, not a very stable platform. I'm not really sure if these are 100% crop, I don't really know how...

Lightroom 6 will not read the RAW files from my D500. Am I doing something wrong or are we waiting for Adobe to update the software?
