I've started a project about pianos and piano people. I've upgraded my camera to the D700 to get more available light shots and a different perspective than DX. So far, I'm more than happy. Here are 2 captures I did today.

Had just enough time to catch the 30 minutes of sun we had today and happened to be around this nice river. Her's my trial: 5 exposures 1 stop between. Photomatix pro.

I finally was able to do a decent moon shot. Took me a while and fussing with and without the fine focus adjustments in the D7000 menu. Seems my 70-300 did need a -4 correction. But, I'm happy since I had tried to do this shot with the tripod earlier this winter, but I froze before I was happy...

I did an hour shooting with my new toy (D700) on the contrast challenge. You can have a look at my gallery to see the runners up. But, this is the one I've selected for this week's challenge. Don't be afraid to leave comments in my gallery, I don't bite :rolleyes:

Weight challenge has it's drawbacks. Had to "Cartoonize" to get away without model release.

Re: D90 pics Here is one that I did this morning with my D90: Just a pen taken with the Sigma 105 2.8 macro lens. Available light from the window, handheld (too lazy to get the tripod ;-)). I like quite a bit. Seems the D90 is more forgiving than the D7000. Maybe the pixels are not so tight...

Since Ive bought Photomatix, I'd like to post the outcome with this new (for me) program. Here's the picture out of Photomatix and color improved in CS5. Oh, no brushing in this one.
