I think you might be a just tiny bit on the under side. Now before you blame the camera, remember that when it measures what you are shooting, it THINKS IT'S 18% GREY. So, as a rule, if something is pale as in white bathtub, pale skin, you could overexpose by about 1/3 of a stop. But in this...

Re: Today's Pic (not 265-2011 but maybe close) Here is today's pic for my piano people project. D700, 3200 iso,1/80s f 4,8. Taken with the bargain 28-8- 3.3-4.5 Nikon. I did remove a few of my tools that were left on top of the piano just to remove distractions from highlights.

Hi Richard, from the exif I wonder the following: Do you resize your file before uploading? I do resize to 1200 x 1200 with 72 dots per inches. This keeps the file below 1.2megs and makes it uploadable. I wonder if your file isn't compressed too much by the uploader since it says it is...

Re: Today's Pic (not 265-2011 but maybe close) Well, the temperature doesn't want to cooperate with me so I went for the wet shot. Shot again with the "cheap" 28-80 3.3-4.5. Did a little, well, maybe more than a little sharpening, but what the heck. ISO 200, 1/40s f36 hand held.
