Re: Boat coming in I like the shot a lot, but more for the lake and the sky. The third rule does not bother me as much as the color cast. I took the liberty to do a little color correction. Unless it's my monitor, I humbly prefer the corrected colors.

Well, for my taste, I just think there is too much color, not enough white reflection from the water drops. I find this a little aggressive and my eyes just don't want to stick to the picture. So I gave it a trial with B+W and this is it: I still find there is no focal point where the eyes...

Re: Today's Pic (not 265-2011 but maybe close) This is actually yesterday's shot that I didn't have time to process. Landscape HDR with the D700. Processed in Photomatix. Iso 200, 1/650 f 9 from 3 exposures. I tried it with photoshop hdr merge and I did not like the end result.

Hi, I made these two HDR trials and was wondering which you prefer and why. One is a one shot worked with CS5 HDR adjustment, and the other is a 3 shot, Photomatix and then CS5. Thanks.
