Do these qualify? My daughter decided that as part of her very unusual wedding each guest would get a wedding cup cake instead of a slice. Surprisingly it went down very well.

Day 11 On the way to the airport to drop my brother off for his looooong flight back to South Africa we stopped off on One Tree Hill for a view of Auckland. I didn't have my tripod with me so these are a bit out but you can see what I was attempting.

Day 10 On the golf course - the Herons were very accommodating. Lots of photos taken as we played.

Day 9 A much better day with time for photography. Took heaps of photos and really liked this one for no reason whatsoever.

Day 8 I only took this one photo all day as I spent most of the time waiting to undergo an MRI scan. Just to stay in the 365.

Day 7 - the day of the wedding. What an absolute disappointment. :( My photos were all very bad indeed. Fortunately the professional photographer with her D700 did a fantastic job. I have so much to learn about photographing people and events.

Day 5 Photos at breakfast this morning with my daughter who is getting married on Tuesday. She had her Hen's Party last night. These were totally unposed with natural lighting.

Day 4. Brother on tee 18-105 trying to freeze a golf swing. Fail!

Day 3 was a struggle because of time restraints. My daughter is getting married on Tuesday and I have spent the day running around doing wedding stuff. Eventually I managed a photo - but had to have a beer first! Then much to my brother's consternation I did a compilation using the above.

Not happy with today's crop of images but still I did get out there to catch some fishermen on the rocks - they caught nothing! The first one fails because I didn't get the bottom of the steps in.
