April 23rd, Took this shot on the way back from a customer. I thought it was and old vs new portrait.

Just a bit of colour correction got me this version:

Maybe I like the first one I took better except for the lady's expression.

April 17th, I knew I should have used my flash to fill this one but I wanted to try it just with the available light. Unfortunately, the wood was reflecting too much light with a red cast and the balance is screwed. But the house was interesting for the piano.

I'm just envious. Here it's rain today and the snow just melted away yesterday. So I console myself thinking of what is to come. Here's one from last year:

April 7th, I finally got around to sell my 85 1.8 D and got the AF-S G 1.8. Wow, this thing is sharp and what a lovely bokeh.

April 4th, got back to work a bit and was able to enhance my piano person's collection. I used the D700 with an old 35mm f2 AI, 1/80s f2.8, iso 800.
