August 2nd. We went to a cycling event and I got to capture 2 nice candid portraits after the event D600, Tamron 28-200.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same little annoyance as I do. Seems like when I respond to a post, after I post I go back to the first post of the thread. Last week, after posting, I would be directed straight to my post and now I have to click on the first (in my case) page to see...

July 30th. Thank you all for the likes and the birthday wishes. So I had to exercise a bit if I want to keep breathing for a longer period of time. This is a pano of a point of view of my cycling circuit. I rarely stop going down, but I made an exception today just to show you what the roads...

July 28th, quick pic of the day. Flowers and bokeh D600, 55 Ais 1.2 @ f2. And another attempt at focus stacking with same combination:

Second focus stacking attempt. I still will need to improve. Seems I'm not completely covering my grounds.

And I'm working for the "Fire" weekly challenge but it seems I got there too late. :)

Here is my first focus stacking trial shot. Only 2 exposures with D600 and Sigma 105 macro.

July 26th, I will post these for now since I tried to do some shots that will involve focus stacking and I have to go back to tutorials before I can process them. Maybe tonight or tomorrow morning early. So, these two for now.

July 25th, After waiting, waiting and around a hundred shots, I finally got something acceptable for my daily shot. Extreme crop from the D600 at iso 1600.

July 24th. Few close-ups with the D700. All work was done from JPEG files.

July 23rd's piano person of the day. Completely backlit with some incandescent lights mixed in, I had my 35 manual focus lens and I mis focused... So I had to resort to filters to try to hide it...

Last friday we went to an outside projection of The General with Buster Keaton and a live pianist (fortunately an electronic keyboard piano imitation). Took this shot to practice twilight zone (reference to the zone system).

July 20th. A few shots from our cycling ride today. I only brought my 28m with the D7000 and did miss my 18-200. But I wanted to do it this way. We rode for about 40 km and got to a country cheese fair. Selfie :)
