August 19th, following the focusing screen adjustment, I just wanted to feature the sharpness of this Rokinon 85 1.4 at 1.4. I find it simply amazing.

Well, I've been having some manual focusing problems with my D600 since I changed the focusing screen. It did show with all lenses, but was more apparent with my Rokinon 85 1.4 @1.4. So I took the bull by the horns and finally inserted some shims under the focusing screen to fine tune my manual...

August 18th, Keeping time. I didn't have much of it for a shot so I practiced my hand held technique. For a 1/20s shot hand held, I'm still OK.

August 17th (yesterday) I didn't have much time to use the camera so the cat got caught against it's will :)

As many people want to switch to the 810, a few bargains have appeared in the local used market. I'm just wondering if an E would be worth the 700$ difference. I could get an 800 for the price of a 610 and... well you know what happens when NAS strikes...:culpability:

August 14th, back to the D7000 with Tamron 17-50 2.8. Sharp lens this one is. I don't know if I was just plain lucky, but I can't find a fault to this nice lens. Simply morning mist:
