Today is still very cold, -25C. But I decided to go and have a look over the river a bit farther than where I live. Got the Df out for about 15 minutes without any problem. Not the same with my fingers though... :) Few shots from different perspectives.

Not as nice as yesterday's, but I did get out of the car for this shot at -28 C this morning. And only had the X-10 with me.

At -23 C, I'm not going out with the camera so I took this one from the kitchen window. Caught in winter:

Re: Fuji X10. Yes I know it's not a Nikon As I'm having a day with my grand daughter, we played outside and she wanted to go up a tree, I grabbed the X-10 for this snapshot. I'm always amazed at the skin tones this little camera can produce.

It's about time I get the Nikon out for a walk. But very cold it is...

Extremely cold outside, -20 Celcius (-9 F) so the cat is not at all interested in going out for a casual walk, and neither am I. :)

So I'll start this year with a picture of one of my pictures. The panorama was done with my late D90 and the 28-85 3.3-5.6 plastic $50 lens. This year I'm going to try to print a little bit more of my shots and spend a little less time on the different photo forums on the Net. But I'll be around...

This is something that I'm almost not capable of. I keep looking and I really have a hard time making up my mind. But this little kitten was very difficult to catch and capture. It just kept moving around and around and just wouldn't stay still. But I finally got something even if it was too...

Nice shot that would be improved by a crop. Just a suggestion:

Too cold to go out with the cameras today so the poor cat is getting annoyed with this picture thing. Seems to be saying: "Just leave me alone will ya!"
