I shot my neighbor's X-mas lights again with the Df this time and the 55 1.2. I had less of a hard time to post process it and was able to get much more details in the darks without noise... So far I'm really impressed.

December 9th, first pictures taken with my Df and 55 1.2 Ais @iso 1600.

I gave up and traded my D600 for this:

December 7th, no matter how cold it is outside, the cat can find a sun ray to stay warm.

December 6th, I forgot my Nikon home but had the little X-10 with me to capture today's lousy temperature.

Entry #1, I wonder how they were able to go so high to install the tuque.

December 5th. It was a very cold morning to go to work early. The temperature is -19 C (-2.2 F). Took the Fuji X-10 out of the car's glove box to capture these morning colors.

December 1st was my grand daughter sitting. I just took this snapshot while she was doing some craft project. Just a grabbed shot under fluorescent with the D600 and 24-120, iso 2000. She's growing up so much so fast that it makes me feel old just thinking about how fast life goes by.

November 28th, snow covered sand sculpture

And my neighbor likes X-mas decorations so much that she has too many of them. Here's one covered with snow.

I can see I skipped a few days when I can't find my 365 thread within the first 2 pages... So it's "summer's over" up here. Can't just sit outside and enjoy the sun anymore, but it can make for photo opportunities. Adirondack chairs sprinkled with fresh snow.
