@Gishy, with the 200-500 f5.6 I use an f stop of 5.6 to 7.1 and never had an issue with my 7200. It helped me in the low light and the trees.

I am struggling a bit with understanding your issue too. I think @hark makes a good point regarding the need for a photo. If you could show us exactly what is broken in the photo we might have a better chance recommending a fix.

I am so sorry to see that @mike. I have to say I have seen some of the meanest comments regarding Z output. Seems to be from owners of another mirrorless camera manufacturer. Childish comments just add nothing.
