These black wasps are so nasty that they scare our hummingbirds. I even saw one that came out straight on the back of a hummingbird while it was feeding... They don't seem to be scared of humans either.

With patience, come results. I've been trying to get decent images of our visiting hummingbirds. After a lot of waiting, I think I got my best so far.

Sunset done last night. 2 straight shots and 2 quadruple exposures done in camera. Only shadow and highlights adjustments in LR.

These were some of my last July pictures. I have to open a new folder for August now but these were taken last night. Lovely sunset. Multiple exposures (4 exposures).

I decided to do an all B&W day. Just to make certain I wouldn't cheat, I choose to shoot in JPEG only and used the Tmax picture control setting on my D810. All shots with the Rokinon (Samyang) 85 1.4.

Used the D810 with 1.4 TC this morning.
