Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! I did redo the hdr and think I got a better result. But something else about the photo just did not sit right ---so I made it a class project. It was a great one to pick apart in terms of composition. I let my students analyze it and help me hone in...

I wasn't quite completely happy with it either. It really was an odd combination of colors tonight. The brown grass, the orange sky. I'll try in BW . . . but gotta admit that this doesn't suit me either. May be I'll look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow.
