This little frog is about 20mm long (3/4"). He is sitting on a Peace Lilly petal. ​

I came along a bit late for the main fight. But caught the end of it. The Hornet goes in for the kill. The Hornet steps back and staggers. The Hornet goes down. Has the Spider dealt the Hornet the death blow also ? The Hornet recovers and savours the spoils.

Found this Grasshopper near my front door.

This wasp seemed to be eating ants, it would hover around until it found one, then drop down onto it. I didn't get a decent shot with an ant.

These ones have been open for a few days now.

A Lilly bud that should start to open tomorrow or the next day.

A tree in the bush near my house has these flowers on at the moment.

A quick walkaround the backyard this afternoon with the Nikon 105 still on the camera produced these images. A couple of newly opened Lily's. ​ This one was in my pool garden.

No wonder there's so many of these damn things around :rolleyes:
