It would be pretty hard to be disappointed with this lens.

I have the Nikon 105 VR, since I have had it, it spends most of its time on the camera.

Re: spiders Found this little Fella on the same leaf as yesterday. He lets me take 3 or 4 shots with the flash before he has had enough and goes away to hide.

Once you start, its a slippery slope Michael :o.

While I was waiting to get some new tyres fitted to one of my cars on Tuesday, I walked over to the Mackay Orchid house to see what was new.

I tried the foam diffuser today, it didnt give me a lot of luck. I think the flash is sitting a bit high and it doesn't light up the foam as well as I would hope for. This is one of the better shots I got using the foam diffuser. Nikon 105 f2.8 @ f16, 1/640th, +3EV, ISO 100. I cant remember...

I got my new flash today, it was late afternoon by the time I got home to try it, so a bit rushed. ​My early tests look promising, I just used the little fold down diffuser on the front of the flash, it worked OK, but I think I will be able to do better with a proper diffuser. More tests are...

I had to put down one of my Chooks today, I buried her in my pool garden beside this Rose Bush. To try and cheer myself up a bit afterwards, I took some photos of a flower on the Rose bush. ​ RIP Mrs Hoppy.
