Aperture for this shot was f/5.3, shutter speed was 1/250 and the ISO was arguably a tiny bit on the high side at 1400, but that's a trifle. What I noticed right away is that nothing, at least nothing to my eye, appears to be sharp. That leads me to believe the problem is probably camera shake...

Move the Mode dial to "A" position, as seen here: You'll need to engage the flash by pressing the flash button on the side of the camera, near the lens mount. In this mode you select the aperture you want to use and the camera will automatically select the shutter speed. If the flash is "up"...

I think this shot has some white balance/color issues, and an odd amount of chromatic aberration, but is a definite candidate for a B&W conversion... Hope you don't mind me posting an example! .....

Put the Mode dial on "M". Then, while holding down the Exposure Compensation/Aperture button (located behind and to the right of the shutter release button), rotate the Command dial to change the aperture.
