    Amazon 0% finance on camera

Good deal or not?? So I was just looking at the Nikkor 200-500mm on Amazon UK and noticed that they offer 0% finance on qualifying orders on selected items. Now it states "cameras" as selected items but I think that may also include lenses, I'd need to check. 0% is 24 months for orders over...

The art of Daylighting Artficially my flower shot

Scott Murray designed a macro diffuser from foam that works very well just using the pop up flash on your camera. All you need is a piece of suitable foam and an adapter ring to fit the thread of your macro lens. In my case that is 52mm thread so I ordered this Phot-R 52 mm Metal Adapter Ring...

The Takahe, a very rare and large member of the rail family. Thought to have been made extinct in 1898 when the last four known specimens were taken, it was rediscovered near Lake Te Anau in 1948. Captive breeding, reduction of deer numbers which degrade their habitat and control of predators...

Post Your Black and Whites Photos!!

Asian lady capturing a dusk landscape at Milford Sound, New Zealand. I had no wide angle with me to capture it as well but I think I made the most of the lens I had with me. A lesson to me that there is often a picture to capture with whatever gear you have.

Australian Wood Duck at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney I was lining up a shot of these two ducklings peacefully sleeping and this thug (not one of the parents) ran over and shoved them in the water at the exact moment I pressed the shutter button.
