    My deliveries been "Stolen"

So it looks like my most recent purchase, a used Kenko 1.4X Teleplus Pro 300 has been stolen or is at least lost in transit. I ordered it last Thursday from London Camera Exchange Lincoln branch and arranged UPS next day delivery (£7) to my local store in Newcastle. I could have ordered it to my...

    Post your birds (2)

Thanks @wev they're still no hummingbird though. Nearest thing we have to them is a moth, the hummingbird hawk moth.

Moose! Pushing the D7100 and 200-500mm to the limit.....

and probably beyond it! A fantastic evening spent in and around Tivendens National Park, Sweden on a "Moose Safari". After a walk with our guide to see Black and Red Throated Loons/divers we went to his camp in the forest for a campfire meal, a few drinks and an informal presentation on moose...

Tokina 11-16mm Help me spend my money!

I've just reluctantly sold a couple of family heirlooms that see no use and would like to put the £270 towards a wide angle lens for my D7100 but also potentially for my/wifes D3200 too. My overall budget is around £350 and I've all but made my mind up about getting a Tokina 11-16mm but which...

Street Art or Graffiti, Post your shots

I was disappointed when I got back from holiday to see I'd taken and ideal photo for the weekly competition but was too late to enter it. I almost never take a photograph which fits the bill. Here it is anyway, taken in Gothenburg, Sweden on the side of our hostel.

    Puffins!

Yes it is, the Farne Islands are home to up to 40'000 breeding pairs of Puffins and last year there were over 50'000 individual Guillemots. Here is another shot with the landing gear fully deployed.

I enjoyed this thread last year and as it is Puffin time again I thought I'd share some photos from my most recent Farne Island trip last Sunday.

    Post your Birds in Flight

This just about sums up my trip to the Farne Islands at the weekend. Lots of angry arctic terns! I can't believe 18mm often wasn't wide enough for BIF shots, another reason to get a Tokina 11-16mm.
