    Navigation problems

Why, when I come to the site, do I only see the Sub Forums? If I want to get onto any of the other sections, I need to open my profile and choose one of my previous posts. Has there been a change while I've been away?

Post your selective color photos here

I've posted the colour version of this photo in other threads but it was just screaming out for a selective colour version. Please don't vote for this if you have already liked it on another thread.

The deepest canal lock in France is on the Marne-Rhine canal at Rechicourt-le-Chateau. I recently went through it on one of my "pushing" trips. 15 metres deep, it replaces 6 normal locks.

Post your favourite shot taken in october 2015 .

My favourite has to be this little guy. As I explained elsewhere, this shot was only possible due to a telephoto lens up against a fine-mesh fence, hence the interference lines on the background. I'm not sure if he was trying to hypnotize the carrot or if it was the other way around. :)

How about a 'funny' wildlife thread?

Ring-tailed Lemur trying to hypnotize a carrot...or maybe it's the other way about.;) Photo taken using a telephoto through a fine-mesh wire fence, hence the interference lines, especially at the top of the shot.

    Post your Birds in Flight

I thought I'd posted this one earlier but can't find any trace of it so, if it is already here, forgive me for the duplication. This is a photo of a lifetime. The chances of my coming across another example of this are virtually nil and most people will never see a case in their entire life...

Total desert here since the heatwave in July and August with hardly any spiders and insects apart from bl**dy flies, so I'm looking through earlier photos. This is a Redstart from spingtime.

    Post your spiders

We tend to see spiders as individualistic, uncaring and often cannibalistic monsters. This proves that they can be sociable creatures. :D
