It's how the forum is set up. New members tend to be Registered as the default type of account. I switched him to a Registered User ... and Whoop! There It Is! Lol. :)

This is the kind with the rubber grip on the plate. These held up really well!

Was it the 6 or 8 sided plate? I liked those. Initially the kind I mentioned used cork. But eventually Bogen replaced the cork with rubber.
