    Hark's 2025

And would you believe I have another new-to-me location?! This is referred to as Neshaminy Falls. However, there is another dam on Neshaminy Creek that is a town or two away (actually this is one of several dams on Neshaminy Creek). I've seen a few local photos of this waterfalls and decided...

    Hark's 2025

And here is another subject that someone local shared – it's something I've driven past many times but never knew was there. This statue commemorates George Washington crossing the Delaware. Right across the street and also behind this area is Washington Crossing Historic Park. No clue why this...

    Hark's 2025

Next up is Patterson Farm in Yardley, PA. It is a historic farm that is preserved. Over the years, many photographers have captured its beauty. So I decided it was time to stop by myself. In my previous post, I made use of my 16-35mm f/4 lens – a lens I have seldom used but love its...

    Hark's 2025

Back in 2023, I had two rotator cuff surgeries which haven't allowed me to return to everything I used to do. For the most part, I can handle many things, but every once in a while my rotator cuff goes into spasm which causes the deltoid, biceps, and triceps to also cramp up and spasm. Plus I...

    Feedback appreciated

I like the original but find the blue to be too dark. Do you use either Lightroom or Camera RAW? Both of those programs have a Luminance slider for each main color. You could try moving the blue luminance slider to the right which would lighten it a little. And if it was my photo, I'd attempt...

    Color problem

Did you use a flash? If not, my guess is the stage lights are LED. Those aren't always easy to photograph. Was your shutter speed the same this time as it was when you photographed there the last time? There are flicker rates with bulbs, and different shutter speeds capture the LED glow...

    Color problem

I opened this in Photoshop then went over to Camera RAW (which has the same tools as Lightroom but in a different layout). I used the eye dropper tool to perform an Auto White Balance where the blue/yellow slider went all the way to -100 then I went back to Photoshop. I had to repeat the process...

Default sorting of content by most recent?

This forum has always done that with threads that were started on the previous forum's old software. I think it's one of the glitches that John referenced – not everything from the old forum will work perfectly over on this one. I will reach out to him, but I kind of doubt there's anything he...

The one I linked earlier is the one I have. Are you setting the flash in manual mode, not TTL? If you have it set manually, maybe the receiver is faulty.

    Sb200/300/400/500???

I had the SB910 and the SB700 both of which had the option to adjust the output. No clue about the others. My SB910 needed to be sent in for repair. The cost was more than I wanted to pay but got the repair completed anyway. It wound up breaking again outside of the warranty period even though...

The settings have to be changed by walking over to the flash to change them. They cannot be changed through the trigger that you have on your camera. :)

I don't think you can trigger a non-Godox flash off camera when using your Godox trigger except if it is set to optical slave (never tried it with my NIkon flash so not sure if it is possible). Godox makes the X1R-N Wireless Flash Receiver which will integrate with your Godox system and will...

I inherited some film-era Nikon stuff.

Forgot to mention I still my use Nikon SC-17 sync cord on my Stroboframe flash bracket. Although the cord is listed online as a remote cord, it's not a remote control cord in the usual sense. It allows a flash to communicate up to about 3 feet away from the camera body while the flash is being...

I inherited some film-era Nikon stuff.

So did you keep the SB-24 flash? I have a few Godox flash units but last summer decided to try one of my SB-28 flashes. The older Nikon SLR flashes will work in manual mode on DSLR's (but not TTL) – and it worked perfectly. The only downside is the clear plastic cover over the flash tube has...

    LIGHTROOM PRICE INCREASE

For those who ONLY use Lightroom, Adobe Camera RAW is supposed to be free. It lacks the organizer that LR offers. The tools used to be the same (although with a different layout) but not sure if that is still the case. So if you don't need the organizer or Photoshop, you might want to check out...

    fstoppers critiques top 2024 photos

There are some incredible photos they cover including one of a nebula. Even if you don't have a lot of time to watch all of it, at least consider forwarding through to see some of the images. The nebula and the boy with the flag were my favorites.

Did you see Horoscope Fish's response? Have you tried to remove the lens and put it back on the body without pressing the release button?
