I decided I wanted to see if the AF-P 70-300mm would be a better zoom for me than the 55-300mm kit lens I got with my D5500. Monday I found it on Amazon as a "used - like new" item claiming to have a slightly dinged box and no warranty but a 30-day return window. The price was only $329 and I...

    Post Your D500 Shots

Attended a lighting workshop and took this last weekend with natural light from an open doorway. I converted to B&W to emphasize ligh/shadow.

Please Advise on pricing photos - buyer contacted me for photos I took of him

I responded to an invitation by the Utah Office of Tourism to attend an event for free yesterday. It was at the Utah Olympic Park where they had a performance by their Olympians in training - The Flying Aces All-Stars (really amazing, if you ever get the chance I recommend it). A local camera...

    Post your birds (2)

Check it out, if you look closely some insect (katydid maybe?) seems to be offering itself up as lunch for the young 'uns. (P.S. looks much better prior to resize for web)

I never thought I was going to get a chance to try out a spider macro, but Seymour here was a decent little poser. :)

    Post your sunset shots

Decided to post this as a test of metadata. It's back! I had made a choice from the drop down in the Metadata section on Lr6 export that was blocking it. Don't even remember changing it so I never paid any attention to it.

    Post Your D5500 Shots

@okulo @crb999 - did I say there was "something wrong" with it? did I say there was a "problem"? Or did I simply say I was "wondering why"? Perhaps there was a compatibility issue with a brand new DX camera and an older FX lens. IDK. I replied to the OP with what I hoped would be a useful...

    Feathers

I took so many photos of this feather trying to get a decent shot, but it was in the shadows and breezy. This was about the best I could come up with, but it was intriguing to me because I wondered, "How did this happen?" Probably the breeze wrapped it around the barbed wire but it appeared...
