Using the help I received I went from This type shot, basically blurry and not so sharp and no shadow detail: To consistently this type of shot that needed almost no sharpening and only minor Levels adjustment.

Day #3 Man, it was cold this morning!! Had a great sunny day though even with numb fingers. I have a ton of Osprey shots but the Bald Eagle, even though he showed up, did not turn out as I hoped. He was just too far away.

Well dang! Those famous Whooping Cranes that are led through migration by ultra-light aircraft (Operation Migration) landed in my home county December 31st. They will not disclose the location though and the cranes are not available for public viewing at this site. Their last stop is 28 miles...
