An hour ago this forum was as fast as ever for me. Now, I can make a sandwich in between page transitions. It is horribly slow to make a connection and change pages. Most times I have had to hit the "Stop" icon and then "Refresh" the page to get them to load.

I cannot find how to edit and add to my software capability in my profile. I can add camera, lenses, flash and other but I cannot see where to change the software shown.

That will become two different animals for you. Flowers usually stay still unless the wind is blowing. On flowers you can set up on a tripod and light from a different angle. Insects move, they move a lot. You cannot usually count on a tripod shot and you won't be able to get real close...

Wow, I am loving the LightRoom! I was going to toss this image in the trash can. LightRoom transformed this photo completely. Not the best I could do but now it is useable. Actually I don't think it is that bad now! This image was terribly fuzzy at the edges where it needed to be sharp...

Just spent and hour and 20 minutes downloading LR 5 Trial version. Did not read the system requirements and it won't install because I have Windows XP instead of Windows 7 or higher. Are there free trials of the older version software anywhere?

I ran down to CVS Pharmacy to use their quick print kiosk. I have never printed any of my photos and I wanted to get a feel for how they look in print. I chose four images to print and all of them looked pretty much exactly like what I see on my monitor. Only one had a warmer tint where the...

Got the 70-300mm VR lens. Used but its nice and clean. Purchased it from Rokas Photo & Video out of California. They seem to be excellent folk to deal with.
