I agree Don, but the downside for us is this, two weeks ago
.
.
today from about the same place
.
the lake is way down, overheard someone saying 15 feet, I know I have to walk a lot further to see the birds, we could do with a rain storm or two
taken from the back seat of our vanpool, going around a corner looking out the front window, someone has stuck a load of tennis balls on the cactus plant
just missed this (whatever) dragonfly? eating a small fly, he picked it of the side of a van and flew down onto the blade of grass, its about an inch and a half long (40mm)
first post in here in a while, lots of Taekwondo shots to go thru and give to the studio.
The first one was better as I was coming home, by the time I got out to the back yard it was already fading, the second one I was just trying to capture the rays.
Can anyone identify these, just plain haven't got a clue, thanks
some sort of black flying insect with an orange butt.
a black gull type bird who just shook out all his loose down.
guessing some sort of Kingfisher??
I got these this morning at Lake Skinner just outside of Temecula's...
I liked the reflection this Snowy Egret, it has the same hairdo has grandpas Egrets, I watched them for a bit this morning, it seems they put them up to scare the other birds off/away.
a few from this mornings ride around the lake, there wasn't much about today after yesterdays survivor mud run, I was hoping to get to it but didn't. Temp when I left the car was down to 54 at 6am, 63 when I got back at 8:30.
