a few from this mornings ride around the lake, there wasn't much about today after yesterdays survivor mud run, I was hoping to get to it but didn't. Temp when I left the car was down to 54 at 6am, 63 when I got back at 8:30.

I liked the reflection this Snowy Egret, it has the same hairdo has grandpas Egrets, I watched them for a bit this morning, it seems they put them up to scare the other birds off/away.

thanks Marilynne, I heard them talking about a blue footed booby that was at the lake, didn't see one but lots of bird watchers out today.

The first is a wasp a sphecid in the genus Prionyx.

The second as Marilynne said is a cormorant.

The third is a night heron.

first post in here in a while, lots of Taekwondo shots to go thru and give to the studio.

The first one was better as I was coming home, by the time I got out to the back yard it was already fading, the second one I was just trying to capture the rays.

took these today, now the intense heat is gone and in the mid 80's it looks like summer, flowers sprouting up again, butterflies out, nice.
