    i have been told these are the blue footed booby by the birders around the lake today, dive bomber, he was moving fast. and he comes up with breakfast up a little closer, wish he had of dived closer to where we sat.

    here's a few from this morning around the lake, Rebecca trying her hand at fishing, never caught anything but she enjoyed it for a few hours, a cormorant in full flight

    I added this photo in my 365 thread and was wondering what can you come up with?? + = . this was one of the main reasons i wanted a DSLR camera, always wanted to try overlaying pictures. So can you come up will any good ideas, looking forward to seeing yours.

    i had to install chrome to fix this, first of many to come, when i get a chance, off to lake skinner in the morning to let Rebecca try her hand at fishing

    some birds, don't have a clue on the first two . . look like "punk rock" hens . this Red Hawk? flew past me with breakfast between his feet, heavily cropped.

    looks like high tide at the lake today . a view looking north over Lake skinner . I liked the sun coming in here. . one of the black belts breaking a cinder block in practice for the upcoming state finals this Saturday.

    these shoes were made for walking...... first time I have seen both shoes, its usually only one, unless they are hanging from the overhead wires

    just before sunrise at lake skinner, taken with my "wide angle" 35mm:D . first glimpse of sunlight on the hills, just as I was framing a heron flew down. . a tree full of Cormorants, they made some noise, I have a few pictures of them battling for tree space, will post them later.

    I went to the lake to see if I could spot the blue footed booby everyone was talking about, talking to the guy that rents boats, he said they start off here in the morning and head to the south side of the lake at night, then says there is one, a quick point and shoot ?? what settings anything...
