Well it was sitting still.

a red tail, northern shoveler? and a duck? just cant find anything close to this one

guessing a western meadowlark (cause i am on the west coast??) not a great pic of the Kestrel but what nice colors.

going with a sharp shinned hawk here just by the Tail, Kevin H ???

these are about the closet yet to getting a good shot of the Northern Harrier.

some birds just need to wind their necks in abit. :)

26th Nov 2015 a few from San Jacinto wildlife area, before turkey time. l looks like someone had an early lunch, looks like an ex chicken. about 2 miles before this i saw a dude climb over a wire fence with what looked like a live pheasant in his arms, (i wonder how he caught it?) hopped...

i will pass @mikew , i will take up your offer when they get a 500mm one. :cool:

i just got home and was getting my bag from the van when this sharp shinned hawk landed on the roof, fired of one shot, noticed i was under exposed, tried to adjust and it flew off, :mad: this was all i could salvage, but i am seeing this more and more around the house, so i may get a better...

24th Nov 2015 lots of cloud about today, some rain forecast for tonight

haven't done one of these in a few years. a ghost selfie, maybe not the best of backgrounds. a couple of test subjects while Rebecca was doing her Taekwondo.

23rd Nov 2015 something a little different for me today. swarms of Cormorants about today, all heading west to the ocean. lesson learned, get to higher ground for these shots.
