you always do well with the ducks in flight @mikew , way better than me, i never seem to pick them up until its to late. lol

this was a hard one to pick, I shot a few first timers last month, but I will go with the colors on this one. a wood duck, I was going to post the snipe, which is the first I have ever seen one.

a western scrub jay flew by me into the bushes, it buried the nut in the leaves, posed for a minute then hopped into the bushes.

3rd Dec 2015 the spider always sits in this position, still waiting on it turning around the other way, I pass it 3 times everyday. I think the bird is a black and white warbler? @wev

i never noticed the grasshopper until PP @ about 1 o'clock on the flower, munching away at the leaf.
