i just got home and was getting my bag from the van when this sharp shinned hawk landed on the roof, fired of one shot, noticed i was under exposed, tried to adjust and it flew off, 
this was all i could salvage, but i am seeing this more and more around the house, so i may get a better crack at it soon.

looks like someone had an early lunch, looks like an ex chicken.
about 2 miles before this i saw a dude climb over a wire fence with what looked like a live pheasant in his arms, (i wonder how he caught it?) hopped in his truck and drove off, happy thanksgiving? lol

Damn hard to get these Don, and they just slowly glide about, not a fast bird at all, just cant get them real good, they have a neck of coming close to you when you are not aiming at them, when you do they are far away.
