This D500 is a beast,justput the 100-400 on it with the 1.4 converter not sure what it is when its one stop on top of f6.3 but the D500 didnt seem to know it was on,it just ran like mad. IQ takes a hit so possibly not worth doing but interesting the camera still focuses.

Interesting this its a f6.3 @ 400mm and on the V2 it will AF with the Sigma 1.4 converter , not a good test as apart from the subject i hand held it @ 1512mm,i know most mirrorless will focus to f11 but never tried it before.

It works on the V2 as well,not much to point it at but you get the idea, FOV = 270-1080MM

Just picked my Sigma 100-400 up and done some testing, now to put it on the dock and change a couple of things,hopefully, we will get a few images in here for prospective purchasers to look at.

I like single point so ime on that,at the moment ime trying for Swallows in flight so i have AF-ON set to 153 points so i can bring it in or out while ime tracking,i will change that depending what ime after. At the moment ime trying for small birds in flight Swallows ect I am getting them but...
