@Krs_2007 I'm ok with suck. It's a funny story. Many years ago when I first started dipping my toes into photography for real I had an image in Moab, Utah that I was really quite proud of. This was the pro I was learning under. In a moment of engaged mouth before brain he responded with, "That...

    Moab Man 2014 Project 365

@Krs_2007 I sensed you were busting my chops or finding a nice way to tell me my photos suck :) Either way, my wife killed my last feeling so I have none to hurt. This class was actually student driven. They have been viewing my photos for quite some time and are always excited to see what I...

Day 168 - Our new additions For three days we have searched to locate the lobster in our salt water aquarium. To our great happiness it appears that d@&# lobster is finally dead! Can't tell you the hundreds of dollars that lobster ate. However, if you have had a salt water aquarium you know...

    Bureau of Land Management Permits

Anyone shot on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property, you know the land that is supposedly Joe Publics land they manage for us. Apparently you need a special permit for commercial photography on our (their) land. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get any information or response from our...

    Post your Insect shots

Platypedia putnami - It's an annual cicada. 1 inch body length. These click rather than buzz as we have a cicada killing wasp that hunts them. From my research, I seem to have found them in a new location in the state of Utah.

    Post your MICRO flowers

Here is another micro flower from today. It was a flower, but quite different. No pretty colors or traditional petals. I'm sure it is built just the way it needs to be to draw in whatever it is that pollinates it.

    Moab Man 2014 Project 365

Day 166 Cicada (Platypedia putnami) Found this up in a local canyon. They are yearly cicadas and rather than making this very loud buzz noise they make clicks. Bug people speculate it's because we have certain insects such as the Cicada Killer Wasp that hunts them down. If they buzzed they...
