Day 105 Blood Moon It's easier to make a blood moon than to shoot one. The actual event is not so cleanly red. And not to bed.

This was much tougher than I thought. Had to make changes on the fly as one moment the moon is too bright and the next it's too dark. Here is my best from the night. And now to send me off to bed.

@Tyler You can mouse over my picture to see the exif data for setting your camera up. Set the white balance to Sunlight. If you are tripod mounting I use the timer delay so that I get zero movement of the camera.

For reference, I just went out and did some test shots of the moon for WB. 4760K seems to dial it in perfect. Now my thought is that I should leave it locked in there to truly capture the color shift. I also scouted out a spot in a "bowl" where I will be shielded from any wind and surrounding...
